Yes, we encourage people to talk to us directly. This can help you get a better feel for what Clayton and his art are all about. You can telephone the studio at (610) 347-0555 or email us at StudioJCB@aol.com |
| How do I place an order? |
Please telephone us at (610) 347-0555 or email us at StudioJCB@aol.com. Due to the high cost of casting bronze sculptures we require a 50% deposit to initiate the order. |
| How is my sculpture shipped? |
Shipping depends upon the size of the bronze. UPS is our usual shipper, but larger pieces require other shipping companies |
| Does my new sculpture need maintenance? |
Bronzes age gracefully. To preserve the patina on sculptures installed out-of-doors we suggest that the piece be waxed three times a year. We ship outdoor pieces with wax and instructions. |
| How long does it take to get my sculpture? |
It depends if we have the
sculpture on hand, or if we need to get it cast. The casting of a bronze sculpture involves a lot of hand labor and it can take approximately 10 to 12 weeks to complete a table size piece. Large pieces might take as much as 16 to 20 weeks. This will vary, because at certain times of year (such as November-December), the foundry is backed up with a heavy schedule. |
How are larger pieces installed? Does it matter if they are on the grass or a patio/walk? |
It is not difficult to install a large sculpture (with a little
help) almost anywhere one wants. However, each piece has its own requirements, so it is best to call us about a specific piece. It is important to understand the weight of life-size bronzes, and the necessity of planning placement carefully in advance. |
