Neilson’s Cow

I saw this cow in a nearby field and realized I wanted a sculpture of her. Intuitively, I realized the only way to have a sculpture that was reflected the image I had in my mind was to sculpt her myself. A sculptor friend launched me on my way with an afternoon's lesson in sculpture. This was my first sculpture. When it sold easily, I decided to quit work in favor of art.
